I’m not funny or clever enough to make up a good April Fool, but quickily trawling the web this morning reveals the first few for your day one amusement. I loved the penguin film. It’s up there with the spaghetti trees and the island of San Serriffe.
I’ve been rickrolled three times today, one of which was on the front page of youtube itself. Check out their featured videos.
I heard about the US version of Spaced for the first time today. Sadly that seems to be real. Or an incredibly good April fool.

Yeah, I was rather charmed by the unlikely aerodynamics of a fat, heavy penguin. At first, I thought they were trying to get more mileage out of their existing CGI Pingus but they are completely different breed! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22BSf3nKKFY)
As for Spaced, surely an American version will just remove all the ‘Brit only’ references, thus rendering it largely pointless?
